Silkworm Spun Fibers used for Glow-In-The-Dark Wedding Dress

Technology has come a long way.  Take a look at this wedding dress that was made from fibers spun by genetic engineered worms.  These fibers look normal and appear to be off-white under normal light however, in the dark, it appears to show off fluorescent hues of green, orange and red. 

Researchers have experimented and tested out these worms with flourescent protein. They discovered ways to manipulate these silk worms' DNA to produce and spin out incredible glowing silk, which stays vibrant and can last up to two years.
